The ASPCA of New York City is looking for a forever family with a big heart to rescue an adorable 4-year-old pit bull pup. The dog, whose name is Jamie, was rescued from a squalid home, and is now and is now looking for a fresh start according to the ASPCA.
NYPD cops from 12 station houses recently took the pup a romp to several city parks to show off her bubbly, loving personality.
It’s not a coincidence that the pup loves cops because she was in fact rescued by one from Brooklyn’s 63rd precinct in April of this year.
According to the ASPCA, Jaime was so underweight that she could barely stand. She was discovered on the property with another dog, who was also rescued by police on that day.
Her coat was soaked in urine, and her nails were so long, that it began to cut into her ankles. Life was miserable for Jaime and her sibling, however, thanks to the ASPCA, her future is much brighter.
If you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever home she rightfully deserves, please contact the ASPCA at (646) 291-4500 and ask about Jaime.
